  • Mr. Raj Lakha, holds degrees in Economics & Government, MBA in International Business, is a Honoree Fellow of the International Institute of Security & Safety Management (IISSM) and Chartered Health & Safety Practitioner UK (CMIOSH). Raj is co-Founder of Safety Solutions (UK) in 1994 widely acknowledged as one of the UK’s premier training companies of NEBOSH, IOSH & City & Guilds qualifications (www.safety-solutions.co.uk).He is also Senior Partner of Synergy CPC LLP (www.synergyllp.com) which merged with Safety Solutions in 2008. Raj has trained some 16,000 people worldwide himself and has consulted to many hundreds of multi-nationals, SMEs and governments. He is also co-author/co-editor of ‘The Handbook of Disaster & Emergency Management’ (Elsevier). Raj’s interests are in Disaster , Security & Safety Management and Government Policy

 

 

  • Chief Bob Andrews, is the founder of Industrial Emergency Services. He currently serves as the company's president and chief executive. He holds the field operations qualification of Fire Chief. He has responded to over 300 emergencies in oil refining, petrochemical, port and related facilities in addition to gaining a significant municipal fire service background.  Chief Andrews is well known for the leadership, vision, growth, technical expertise, incident command excellence and successful emergency response he brought to the Refinery Terminal Fire Company in Corpus Christi, Texas during his 13 year tenure as Vice President (general manager) & Fire Chief. His leadership and contributions to emergency response, organizational development, and fire protection engineering is well recognized within the oil and chemical industry.   • Prof. Kris Pillay,  Head of Department Security Risk Management University of South Africa, born in Durban, South Africa, Prof. Kris Pillay completed his Master’s degree in Criminology at the University of Durban-Westville (UD-W).In 1999 he was seconded to the position of acting Executive Director of the Security Management Programme. After the merger with TSA, UNISA and VUDEC he as been appointed as the Head of the Department of Security Risk Management. He is currently the Executive President of the Criminological Society of Southern Africa since 1993. On 1 January 2005, he was promoted to Associate Professor in the Department of Security Risk Management at Unisa. He has presented several academic& international conferences papers & published criminal justice and security related issues in scientific journals

 

 

  • Maj (ret) Ponno Kalastree is the Managing Director of Mainguard Security Services (S) Pte Ltd and Mainguard International (S) Pte Ltd - a licensed security and private investigations firm which he established over 30 years ago when he left the Singapore Armed Forces. Major Kalastree’s membership in over 10 international associations and interaction with colleagues throughout the world motivated him to push for an upgrade of the image of the private security and investigations industry in the Asia-Pacific region.   He is an advocate for education and professional development.  He has published articles in various business community trade magazines to promote the value of private investigation, security risk management and its marriage with fire safety,  and presented at conferences on International Investigations

  • R. Swami Nathan Special Secretary, DG Security (IPS Retd), An expert in security intelligence at globe  having more than three decades of vast experience in the central intelligence community, i.e. IB, DG (Security), R&AW,Director of Aviation Research Centre,Principal Director and Special Secretary to name a few. He joined Indian Police Service in 1954 and was allotted to Andhra Pradesh Cadre and went on deputation in 1957 and served head of several Government  organizations. His last assignment in service was Special Secretary, DG (Security), Cabinet Secretariat, Govt of India. He was awarded the Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 1972. He is currently the President & Director General of the International Institute of Security and Safety Management (New Delhi)

 

  • Dr. Prasanna Kumar Mishra (IAS Retd): Dr. Mishra joined Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 1966 and belonged to Orissa cadre, initial years of the service in the IAS  included postings as sub-divisional officer, Additional District Magistrate and District Magistrate and Collector at the district level. He held several positions in State/Central Government of India. He was Secretary to Government of Orissa in several Departments like Revenue; Housing & Urban Development; Agriculture; Finance, Chairman of Paradip Port for five years. He retired from IAS in 2004 from the position of Secretary to Government of India in the Ministry of Coal. He is well known for his adequate & efficient assessment of planning, directing, organizing and controlling projects/assignments within and outside of the organization

 

  • Justice Nagendra Rai ,Retired as acting Chief Justice in Patna High Court. Shri Rai became Judge of Patna High Court in the year 1990. He was enrolled as an Advocate in 1966, and practiced mainly in Criminal, Civil and Constitutional Matters in the Patna High Court. Shri Rai had taken tough decisions on Bihar State Universities Act 1976. Section 67 & Section 81, Law and Order of several cases, Transfer issues of employees, Access of common man to the police station, Unfair means in examination, Police manual rules 844 to 847, Bihar Finance Act  Sec.46 (4)Income Tax Act 1961 Sec. 234 C, Limitation Act 1963 Sec.5 and Bihar Tenancy Act sec.106., Compassionate Appointment to name a few. Shri Rai is well known by his discipline and stringent decisions in eyes of laws  

 

  • Padma Bhushan Dr. (Mrs.) Manju Sharma, IAS Retd, Dr. Sharma retired as a Secretary, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, and Government of India. After superannuating and completing her tenure as Secretary, Department of Biotechnology in February, 2004, she was appointed Adviser to the Minister of Science & Technology. Her contributions during her tenure as Secretary, Department of Biotechnology have been instrumental in shaping biotechnology research and application and giving it a very strong position in the national interest.  She initiated many concrete international collaborations for Government of India. Dr. Sharma has received NASIs Platinum Jubilee Gold Medal by Prime Minster of India in the 2006 for Life Time Contributions in growth of the academy

 

  • Mr. Sarath Chandra D.G of Police (IPS Retd), A Crisis Management Guru with expertise in safety and security who has devoted his life to solving the real grass root level issues in this sector from bottom to top in the country. Mr. Chandra started his career as a Superintendent of Police (SP) to Director General of Police (DGP) Madhya Pradesh.  Mr. Chandra represented I.B. for over a decade in the Govt. of India’s Advisory Group, evaluating counter measures against Air Piracy Associated in the Crisis Management of all hijackings in the country for over 10 years. Mr. Chandra represented India on several occasions such as at the International Congress on Terrorist Tactics and Devices at deep cut (Surrey-UK), at the Interpol Conference at ST.CLOUD, France, Maldives for security plans to name a few

  • Mr. U. N. Singh (IPS Retd), Popularly known as a rare blend of Brain and Brawn and also an expert of national stature in Security & Intelligence at globe. At a very early age of 20 years he was picked up by Police Dept / Intelligence Bureau, Govt. of India to work in highly sensitive areas of Political Intelligence, VIP Security, where he ably served for a period of nearly eight years. On his own profession front he continues to remain as active as ever before. He is member Governing Board of International Institute of Security and Safety Management and Director of most prestigious Private Security Agency in India and abroad.  He was member of Panel and Experts, constituted by Home Ministry, Govt. of India with Shri Rajakaran, Ex.   • Padmashree Dr. Pritam Singh, A management Guru who has devoted his life to the development of management education in India and abroad.   • Dr. Parag Diwan, A Chemical Engineer and a Doctorate in Business Administration Dr. Diwan is the co-founder of the Indian School of Petroleum. His experience profile spans areas from Production to Design development to Academics to Research to Vice Chancellor of the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies. He has written several business management books, papers and articles in national and international journals.   • Dr. Anita Roy, (IPS ex), Dr. Roy joined IPS in year of 1991 and belong from UT Cadre. She is an expert in real estate projects in India and abroad, having several years of work experience in senior management team of Police on several roles such as Deputy Inspector General in Central Bureau of Investigation (Economic offences Mumbai Region), Additional Commissioner (Crime Women Cell, New Delhi), Delhi Police as Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi District), Deputy Commissioner of Police, (Security, New Delhi) to name a few. Dr. Roy completed her M.B.B.S. from Lady Harding Medical College, New Delhi and received Presidents Medal for Meritorious Service in August 2006.     Dr. Roy is well known by her team headship and people management skills

  • Mr. Chander Mohan Sachdeva, An expert in fire safety and risk management having several years of experience in this sector. A Gold medalist in S O course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur an elite institute run by Ministry of Home Affairs Government of India. Mr. Sachdeva worked in several companies as Fire Safety officer to Fire Safety and Risk Management Head such as M/s Indian Hotels Co. (Taj group of hotels), M/s Escorts Ltd. Faridabad to name a few in India. His proficiency in area of Training on fire safety, General safety, Industrial safety, Safety in Service industries, Installation of fire protection systems, Fire safety audits etc. Mr. Sachdeva is well known as a SWOT analyst of fire safety & risk management
